Through a curated selection of documentary short films and audiovisual installations, “Departure / Return” explores the Asian diaspora and the evolving cultural landscapes of Asia in recent years. It features artists who take on personal journeys of departure or return, reflecting on and reshaping past memories into new insights and experiences. These works unfold stories of reconciliation—with the self, with others, and with the past and life itself. They invite a sense of openness and wholeness, inspiring engagement with what was once familiar from deeper, new perspectives.
